My name Is Khan is movie that makes you want to say many things but leaves you speech less. If a whole film can be can be hoisted up by the brilliance of a single guy, MNIK is an excellent example of it. Shahrukh Khan portrays the protagonist with so much reality that it solely forms the frame work for the whole movie.
More over it is joy to see Karan Johar doing movie on important topics rather that masala "problematic" family stories. And i do feel that he has done quite a good job to adopt transfer such a sensitive subject from paper to the screen. But i feel that each scene lacks that touch of perfection that you see with Raju Hirani's movies.
I would also like to appreciate the camera work. Especially that shot of flood scene was very realistic.
But then MNIK is very unbelievable at many instances.
A whole town coming with rescue items??? A bit too over the top.
But the line:"My Name Is Khan and I am Not a terrorist!" Rings in your ears hours after movie.A Movie that is a full on for first watch and leaves you with a swollen heart.
