Oppurtunists....
A man of his education and knowledge was and is rare in Indian politics. But he was not very popular among his own party men. They thought he wouldn't be elected in the first place! How ever the people thought a Educated man would at least stop corruption. He turned out to be a luxurious "representative" of the poor. But he was one among the few people who actually know his official duties pretty well. He even Managed to win kerala an IPL team, one that Even Mohanlal and Priyadarshan couldn't! How ever that cost him real good and his "congress-men " saw this as opportunity to drag out Tharoor and Voila We kniow the rest....
I personally think a man of Mr. Tharoor's Capabilities will be more utilized in the business field!
