My Review : Outsourced

Cast : Josh Hamilton, Ayesha Dharkar

Outsourced is one of those movies that you would be happy to watch when your are depressed or when u are feeling blue. It is one of those movies that would bring a slight smile to ur lips especially if u are an indian..

The Movies portrays the protagonist,Todd(Josh Hamilton),a customer care analyst , who is forced to come to India after his companies whole customer care services are shipped to India .
The rest of the movie is the struggle of Todd to come to a common ground with Indian culture and even day to day chores.

Some where in the movie, we find Todd introspecting and self analyzing. The story is about a man's discovery of himself in a crowd of strangers.
Outsourced gets the basic facts right about its locale but its examination of the cultural schisms between people of differing backgrounds (such as in a scene where Todd suddenly realizes why it is improper to eat with your left hand!) is milked for laughs that reinforce misunderstanding as opposed to fostering empathy or enlightenment. Also Todd has to face grave problems explaining to his employees the actual need of the things that they are selling. Even though not Eye tearing comedy, it surely will bring a twinkle in your face.

Outsourced is one of those movies that has been reinforced by the pespiring work of its actors. The overall script of the movie is quite simple, but it is the effort of the actors that truelly makes you believe.
Josh Hamilton is the asset of the movie. He portrays the emotions of a completely confused american with so much sincerity that the viewers are forced to believe in it. Asha, Todd's love interest , played by Ayesha Dharkar, is also quite appealing and shows justice to her character. Another Name that has to be mentioned is that of Mr. Puro played by Asif Basra , who provides some of the most enjoyable moments in the movie.

Overall, Oustsourced isn't a oscar award winning classic, but in reality no body expects it to be . For a average english flick its quite good.

Rating 3/5(Pretty average)
