Canon has introduced the Canon IXUS 95 IS Digital Camera; which comes with uncompromising style and easy usability. The Canon IXUS 95 IS 10MP Digital Camera is made up of CCD sensors that have an image resolution of 10 mega-pixels; a higher image resolution is expected to deliver superior quality images. It measures about 88.5 x 54.8 x 21.8 mm and weighs just about 120 grams. The camera is compatible with SD, SDHC and MMC memory cards. This can be used to increase its internal memory capacity. The images can be previewed on the device's 2.5-inch LCD screen. The LCD screen comes with a display resolution of 230000 pixels.

The Canon IXUS 95 IS Compact Digital Camera offers a 3x optical zoom and a digital zoom of 4x. The optical zoom and digital zoom indicate the amount of enlargement that can be provided to the image, however in case of the optical zoom the image quality remains unaffected unlike the digital zoom. In this camera the focal length range is between 6.2 - 18.6 mm and it also offers 6 white balance modes. The camera automatically correct the red-eye factor. The ISO range offered is ISO 80 to ISO 1600. Thus you can now get sharp images even in dimly lit conditions. The shutter speed range offered  lies  between 15 and 1/1500 seconds. The macro focus range starts at 3 cm while the normal focus range starts at 46cm.

The Canon IXUS 95 IS Digital Camera comes with Face Detection and Scene Detection technology. The scene detection feature checks the situations and selects the appropriate camera settings. Canon has incorporated the DIGIC4 image processor for excellent processing speeds, and exceptional image quality and colour reproduction. The i-Contrast function adjust the contrast and saturation settings for a clear background. Movies can be recorded at the rate of 30fps. Also it includes a Motion Detection technology that senses the physical movement to focus accordingly.
